The most striking aspect of the poster is the title, in drawn big red letters on a black background, like blood on a black sea. The sensational photograph of the soldiers in the battlefield, as well as the way the photograph is set, in a narrow strip, covering the poster’s width from one side to the other, explicitly convey the dramatic character of the film. This is one of the many posters issued for this film. All of them were designed by Giorgos Vakirtzis.
